Martins loses MLS award to Drogba

Super Eagles outcast, Obafemi Martins lost the Eti­had Airways MLS Player of the Month for September after losing to Montreal Impact striker Didier Drogba.
Martins who plays for Seattle Sounders came second while Toronto FC star Sebas­tian Giovinco emerged in third position.
The Chelsea’s legend, who joined the Major League Soccer this summer, following his second spell at Stamford Bridge, scored seven goals in his last five MLS appearances.
