MASSOB: Igbos are political slaves, can't be President in Nigeria

The Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has rationalized the current political structure in Nigeria and concluded that Ndigbo are too politically disadvantaged to aim for the presidency, either now or in the future.
It has, therefore, maintained that the best and only option open to the people of the Southeast region is to progressively cede from the country and build the Biafra nation through non-violent struggle.

These views were canvassed Tuesday in a statement signed by one of its leaders, Uchenna Madu.

“The way Nigeria is structured politically, it will be very hard for Igbo man to be president of Nigeria. The structure almost reduced Ndigbo to a minority tribe in Nigeria but history has always proved that Ndigbo is the largest ethnic nationality in Nigeria.

“Even with our population and handshake with some geopolitical zones, it will be hard for the Igbo to be Nigerian president because there is a grand plot against Ndigbo in Nigeria. It will still be difficult for Igbo man to be president in Nigeria, “Madu said.

Arguing that it saw no further prospects of accommodation even within the present All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, the group said, “Ndigbo has never benefited from Buhari’s administration because we know that it’s not possible. President Buhari has is a complete negative reaction against the existence of Ndigbo.

His anti-Igbo policies including his tribal and religious hatred of Igbo Christians is a complete proof of his personality.”

According to MASSOB, the strongest bargaining chip for Ndigbo on the presidency project remains total commitment to the actualization of the sovereign state of Biafra “because that’s the only working panacea that attract regional interest to the presidency.”

These people are insatiable, they keep complaining they have not benefitted anything from buhari’s government. So all the N power scheme, SIP and other laudable activities didn’t get to them or how? Or this dollar reduction of a thing is not of their utmost advantage as most business men are igbos. All don’t they have all their representatives at the federal government and ministries .they should keep quiet.

Ayodeji! hahaha! the chips are down for you guys from the south west. The Buhari of yesterday may not be able to return to aso rock. you will only prove your worth if Osinbajo retains his position as substantive president come 2019. but if he does not ofcouse a south easterner will be in that position.

      Musa!
Your judgement is terrible. is N-Power and SIP what stake holder-ship is about? How many of the Military commanders and Presidential Aides are from the South east? we are not dogs after crumbs. we need our quota as stake-holders in governance not just fragments from government welfare. you! your self shut your traps if you can not present sound judgements in issues of national discuss.

We are not even interested in the post of the president in Nigeria, never, not corrupt Nigeria when we have our land Biafra. Biafra is where the Igbos belong and that’s where we’d have our own president who will treat us right with neither bias nor sentiment.
