Mayweather Vs McGregor superfight finally confirmed

The highly anticipated superfight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor has finally been agreed, with the two fighters confirming the news on Twitter on Wednesday evening.

After long negotiations to set up the crossover fight, Mayweather wrote on his Twitter handle, “It’s official” with a link to a photo on Instagram, while McGregor also wrote, “The fight is on!!!” with a picture of Floyd’s father and trainer.

The fight between the duo, who have been involved in constant verbal scraps as they struggled to agree terms, will take place in Las Vegas on Saturday August 26 as Mayweather looks to retain his undefeated record in the ring, having had a 49-0 record.
