MMG signee Meek Mill got the best possible outcome for violating parole when a Philadelphia judge, Genece Brinkley ruled that the rapper must serve three months of house arrest.

The ruling came as a relief for the rapper who feared he may go to jail but the court ruling will not make him free either at least for the next three months.

A report by TMZ informs that the rapper will serve a minimum of 90 days of house arrest which will put a stop to his rap hustle, performances and song releases at least for now until his term is completed.

However, the Philadelphia judge also ordered an additional six years of probation.

The rapper has been on probation for a 2009 drug and gun conviction. He violated his parole with unapproved travel and a failed urine test.

However the MMG rapper is due to turn himself in by March 1 and a judge will re-evaluate the case 90 days later.
