Melaye tasks Cameron to disclose Nigerian looters

Chairman, Senate Committee on the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dino Melaye, has challenged, the UK authorities to disclose looters of Nigeria’s coffers and put a stop to the practice of non-disclosure agreements [NDAs] operated by international banks.

Melaye who was reacting to a statement by Prime Minister, David Cameron that Nigeria is ‘fantastically corrupt’, noted that the West is the beneficiary of corrupt practices in Nigeria.

Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial District on the platform of the APC, is standing in for the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, at the on-going Anti-Corruption Summit hosted by Cameron in London.

Melaye who spoke during an interview with UK Channel 4 News said further, that the UK covertly aids and abet corrupt politicians in Nigeria to loot the nation’s patrimony.
