Aje-Afunwa also ordered that the sureties must show proof of tax payment and own a house in Lagos with title documents.

In a related development, Lanre could face up to three years in prison if found guilty of the charges leveled against him by a magistrate court in Lagos.

The hotelier who has been charged on three counts of domestic violence, assault, and threat to life could spend that much time in prison if the court finds him guilty after his wife accused him of battery and claimed that she has been enduring an abusive marriage.
