Mexican man jumps to his death after he’s denied entry into US a 3rd time

Tragedy struck near the US border when a 44-year-old Mexican identified as Olivas Valencia threw himself to his death by jumping off a bridge, moments after being denied entry into the United States for a third time.

Reports say a rather disconsolate Valencia who was with just a plastic bag of belongings in his hand jumped off a bridge 30 metres in view of the US border, throwing himself to his death minutes after he was denied entry to the US.

Witnesses said the man was in great distress after being sent back to Mexico for a third time forcing him to do the unthinkable.

His death is coming months after newly sworn-in US President Donald Trump ordered action to begin construction of a wall along the nearly 2,000-mile-long (3,145km) US-Mexico border, a tightening of border security and tougher enforcement against undocumented immigrants inside the country.
