Mexico extradites drug lord El Chapo to the US
Notorious drug lord El Chapo has been extradited by Mexico to the United States of America.
He is to face drug trafficking offences and other charges there.
El Chapo has been moved to New York where he will face an indictment which accuses the notorious drug dealer of using hit men to carry out murders, kidnappings, and torture.

The wanted drug lord was transported via a flight from the Mexican border town Ciudad Juarez according to a US law enforcement official.
El Chapo – regarded as one of the world’s most notorious drug kingpins who twice escaped maximum-security prisons in Mexico, most recently in 2015 via a kilometre-long underground tunnel dug under the shower in his cell is expected to appear in a federal courthouse in Brooklyn on Friday.
