The government’s search for wanted ex militant, Government Ekpemukpolo (Tompolo) has entered a high gear.

Reports from the Niger Delta region suggest that the military may have deployed fighter jets and surveillance aircraft in efforts to locate the whereabouts of Tompolo, and the Niger Delta Avengers.

Also, soldiers swooped on Kurutie (Little London), another community in Gbaramatu kingdom, Warri South-West Local Government Area, Delta State, ‎in six gunboats in the early hours on Monday hunting for members of the Niger Delta Avengers.

Many residents ran into the bush on hearing the sound of the gunboats.

Reports say the soldiers, quickly cordoned the community, and embarked on a house to house search.

It was also gathered, that the jets belonging to the Nigerian Air Force were flying about in the area.

The soldiers having done with Kurutie reportedly went on to Okerenkoko, another Ijaw town in Gbaramatu kingdom.
