The Technical Committee on the implementation of the new minimum wage has officially handed President Muhammadu Buhari a report on how the newly increased pay will be funded.

The President, while receiving the report from the Technical Committee at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, assured that the government will speedily study the report towards its implementation.

Buhari also used the opportunity to thank the committee for submitting the report before the bill was passed into law.

The bill to increase the minimum wage to N30, 000 is still before the National Assembly.
