There were indications yesterday that former Ekiti State, Governor Kayode Fayemi, and former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, may end up in the ministerial list of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Both men were at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday, where they met with the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the president, Alhaji Abba Kyari.
Their visits come at a time the President is concluding work on the list of ministerial nominees he would be sending to the National Assembly before the end of September.

Soludo, who put on a cream-colour kaftan, was sighted signing the visitors’ book at the entrance of the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President, Alhaji Abba Kyari.
He made his way into the Office of the Chief of Staff at about 5.35pm; while Fayemi, who wore a dark-colour kaftan and a cap, entered around 6.10pm.
Soludo and Fayemi waited for the Chief of Staff who was inside the president’s office when they arrived.
It was, however, not clear whether they met with President Buhari.
