Miss Anambra crowned 40th Miss Nigeria

Fair-skinned and lanky looking beauty queen, Chioma Stephanie Obiadi representing Anambra State, has been named as the 40th Miss Nigeria after beating thirty-six other contestants to emerge the overall winner of the beauty contest staged at the Eko Hotel Conference Centre in Lagos.

Obiadi who emerged tops after judges scored her tops based on the following criteria; punctuality, etiquette, daily tasks and the Green Girl challenge is now a proud owner of a brand new SUV, 5 million naira, 6-month skill acquisition programme in any institution of choice, a one-year serviced apartment and an all-expense paid trip to France by Air France.

The beauty queen who was all smiles after she was crowned winner of this year’s edition of the famous competition tagged the Ruby Edition, has now taken over the crown from the 2015 winner, Pamela Peter-Vigboro Leesi from Cross River.

And for emerging the winner of the Miss Nigeria beauty contest, Miss Obiadi is now earmarked represent Nigeria at the 2017 Miss Universe contest.
