Morata fires Chelsea past Man United; Everton beat Watford

Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata scored the only goal at Stamford Bridge on Sunday to help Premier League champions, Chelsea beat rivals, Manchester United.

The Spain international, who moved to Chelsea at the start of this season, scored what happened to be his 8th goal for the Blues on 55 minutes to secure the win.

The win for Chelsea is the third in a row in the league, and it came after a 3-0 defeat to AS Roma in matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League last Tuesday.

Antonio Conte’s side remain on fourth spot with 22 points, only one point behind Manchester United, and nine points behind table toppers, Manchester City.

In the other Premier League game played concurrently on Sunday, Everton came from 2-0 down to defeat Watford 3-2 at Goodison Park.

With the result, the Toffees secured their first win in five matches and have moved out of the relegation zone to sit on 15th in the table.
