Morgan Freeman’s goddaughter stabbed to death

E’Dena Hines, a 33-year-old step-granddaughter to Hollywood actor, Morgan Freeman was on Sunday stabbed to death by a yet to be determined assailant.
Hines, herself an actress was murdered outside of her New York City home.
Authorities say she was found lying on the street and had suffered multiple stab wounds to her torso. She was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead around 3:00 a.m local time.
A 30-year-old man, thought to be her ex-boyfriend was taken into custody at the scene and transported to a hospital nearby.

He was found standing over her body, screaming, with blood all over his own body. A knife was also found near E’Dean’s body.
In a statement, Morgan said, “Her star will continue to shine bright in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. May she rest in peace.”
E’Dean was the granddaughter of Morgan Freeman’s first wife Jeanette Adair Bradshaw and is also his goddaughter.
