Moses, Balogun make CAF Best XI, again

Super Eagles forward, Victor Moses and defender, Leon Balogun have been included in the CAF team of Matchday 4 of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The duo, alongside teammate Wilfred Ndidi, were named in the Best XI of the Matchday 3 of the qualifiers by the continental football governing body after Nigeria destroyed Cameroon 4-0 last Friday.

The Eagles then secured a 1-1 away draw against the Lions on Monday in Yaounde and Moses and Balogun were extraordinary in the game as they held on regardless of pressure from their hosts.

Also in the best eleven are Zambian defender Stoppila Sunzu, Ghana’s midfielder Thomas Partey, Egypt’s Mohamed Salah and goalkeeper Denis Onyango of Uganda.
