Moses out for four weeks with hamstring injury

Victor Moses has joined the list of injured players in Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, as he faces at least a month out after limping off during last Saturday’s game.

Moses was hobbled off after 38 minutes in the game that saw the Premier League champions handed a shock 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace.

The Nigerian winger is the third Chelsea star to be crocked by a hamstring pull in the last two weeks, as he joins leading striker Alvaro Morata and key midfielder N’Golo Kante with hamstring problems.

Chelsea suffered their second loss in a row at the weekend, having fallen at home to Manchester City before the international break.

Moses will be missing in action in a busy October for Chelsea, with a hectic run of fixtures with Champions League and Carabao Cup games sandwiched in between the defence of the Premier League title.

The Blues will face Serie A side, AS Roma in a matchday 3 of the UEFA Champions League group stage this Wednesday.
