Moses scores winning goal in Fenerbahce victory over Rizespor

Nigerian winger, Victor Moses continued his impressive form at Fenerbahce as he bagged the winner in his side’s 3-2 victory over Rizespor on Saturday.

Super Eagles star, Chidozie Awaziem was also in action for Rizespor, alongside Nigerians Azubuike Okechukwu and Aminu Umar.

The Turkish top-flight clash saw hosts Fenerbahce fight back from a goal down to win at the Sukru Saracoğlu Stadium.

Moses, who joined the side on loan from Chelsea, bagged the winning goal from the spot in the 86th minute.

The hosts had gone behind early in the first half as they conceded an own goal by Hassan Ali Kaldirim, but Serder Aziz levelled the scores minutes after.

Roberto Soldado then put Fenerbahce ahead for the first time in the game on 40 minute, before Dario Melnjak made it 2-2 early in the second half.

Moses’ goal is his second since January when he joined the Turkish giants, who are battling to avoid relegation.

Moses was replaced in the 90th minute after scoring the winner.
