Mourinho say gunners were ‘Lucky’ as United draws 1-1 with Arsenal

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has said his side’s premier league rival Arsenal FC were lucky in Saturday’s match at Old Trafford that ended 1-1.

Despite taking the lead and being the dominant team for much of the game, United were pegged back in the 89th minute by Gunners substitute Olivier Giroud.

“We were the best team,” Mourinho said moments after the match in a post-match TV interview.

“We were phenomenal defensively. We played with confidence and quality. They were the lucky ones.

“I am watching a team that is the unluckiest in the Premier League,” he added.

This made it three home draws in a row in the Premier League for the Red Devils, with Mourinho clearly feeling the heat after this bizarre outburst afterwards. The Portuguese allegedly walked out of his press conference repeating the phrase ‘Finally I lost against Arsenal’.
