MR. 2KAY: I'll collaborate with Burna Boy despite robbery case (Video)

Abiye David Jumbo popularly known in music circles as Mr 2Kay has revealed that he will work with Burna Boy on any possible musical collaborative effort despite the fact that the Spaceship Entertainment act is behind a robbery attack on him last year.

Mr 2Kay made the submission in an interview with BroadwayTV saying he sees Burna Boy as his brother despite the fact that he ordered hoodlums who robbed, battered and bruised him in an incident which left him hospitalised.

He went further to reveal in the interview that he has moved on from the situation that caused a rift between them.

Recalling the incident which happened last year, Mr 2Kay had just finished performing as one of the main acts during the Buckwyld and Breathless concert and had retired to his room at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, around 11 am when the robbers struck.

The assailants had disguised as room service to gain entry into his room, where they dispossessed Mr 2Kay of a wristwatch, gold jewellery, and phones, among other valuables estimated at millions of naira.

Four suspects identified as Balogun Ademola, Obina Igwe, Tunmise Omotore and Joel Kantiock, who claimed to be Burna Boy’s road manager – were later paraded by the police in connection with the attack on Mr. 2Kay.

They were alleged to have been offered N100, 000 by Burna Boy to teach Mr 2Kay a lesson after they both had a disagreement over an issue on social media.
