Mum re-unites with son 21-yrs after he was abducted
An emotional laden California woman with tears rolling down her cheeks has re-united with her 22-year-old son who was abducted by his father months after he was born.
Maria Mancia who says she believes in miracles wrapped her hands around her long lost son who towered over her.
According to reports Mancia and her ex husband Valentin Hernandez were at odds with each other after the birth of their son.
But Mancia came back to their Rancho Cucamonga, California, home after work one day to find her husband had disappeared with their son.
A press release from the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office revealed that Hernandez’s father, Valentin Hernandez, took him to Mexico in 1995, never to be seen nor heard from again, until Thursday.
Calls to Mancia were not returned, but ABC-owned station KABC was there for the reunion.
“Now this anguish I’ve carried is gone now that I have my son back,” Mancia told KABC. “I spent 21 years looking for him not knowing anything.”
