Musa, Abdullahi rejoin Kano Pillars on free transfer
Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club Kano Pillars have announced the signing of Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi on free transfers.
They will both also feature in Sunday’s matchday six league encounter against Sunshine Stars billed to hold at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium.
“We can confirm that an agreement in principle has been reached with Super Eagles players, captain, Ahmed Musa MON and Shehu Abdullahi to join up with us for the 2024/25 football season.

“Both players have been included in the squad for our match against Sunshine Stars on Sunday,” reads a statement on the club’s official X account.
Musa, terminated his contract with Turkish club Sivasspor in February, is rejoining Kano Pillars for a third stint after featuring for the club between 2009/10 and 2021.
Abdullahi, on the other hand, who had been without a club since January 2023, will be featuring for Pillars for the second time, having played for the club in 2012.
