Super Eagles star, Ahmed Musa says he is humbled by the heroic welcome given to him by football fans and people of Saudi Arabia.

The 25-year-old forward completed a move to Saudi Arabian Premier League club Al-Nassr from English premier League club Leicester City earlier this month.

He arrived at the King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh on Friday morning to meet a large number of fans and club officials waiting to welcome him.

“What an amazing reception here in Saudi Arabia,” he wrote on his Twitter handle later on Friday.

“I want to thank each and every person who came out and welcomed me at the airport. I am really humbled. I can feel the excitement and energy already, I am looking forward to this historic opportunity!?? @AlNassrFC.”

Musa, a 2018 FIFA World Cup star whose goal for Nigeria was ranked among the best, will be hoping to help the club do better in the nation’s topflight, as they finished third in the league last season.

Al-Nassr will kick off their new season on August 30.
