Musa reopens scoring account in CSKA friendly draw

Ahmed Musa marked his return to CSKA Moscow with a goal as the side secured a 1-1 draw in a friendly game against Norwegian side Nordsjaelland on Friday.

The Super Eagles forward, who is on loan at Russian giants till the end of the season, scored the opening goal of the game on 33 minutes.

Their opponents levelled only 10 minutes later thanks to a goal by Mikkel Damsgaard.

Musa returned to CSKA Moscow following his irregular playing time at English Premier League side, Leicester City; as he had just one appearance in all competitions for the Foxes this season.

The former Kano Pillars star moved to England in the summer of 2016 after making 125 appearances and scoring 42 goals at CSKA between 2012 and 2016.

Musa also three Russian league titles in 2013, 2014 and 2016; one Cup in 2013, and two Super Cup titles in 2013 and 2014 during his first spell in Moscow.

CSKA Moscow are fifth of in the Russian Premier League table with 35 points from 20 games.

They will face Spanish side Elche in another friendly on Tuesday
