Musa returns to CSKA, to play in Europa League

Super Eagles winger, Ahmed Musa has returned to CSKA Moscow, where he will ply his trade for the rest of this season and has been included in the club’s Europa League squad.

The Russian side confirmed Musa’s arrival on their website on Tuesday.

“PFC CSKA and Leicester City agreed the loan of Ahmed Musa today until the end of 2017/18 season,” the club announced.

“Ahmed will be included in the Red-Blues’ squad list for the national league and the UEFA Europa League knockout stage. Welcome back, Ahmed.”

Musa, who is out of favour at English Premier League side Leicester City, will be having his second stint with the Rusian giants after he previously featured for them between 2012 and 2016.

The 25-year old has not made a single appearance in the Premier League for the Foxes this season and has only made one appearance in the Carabao Cup.

Ultimately, the former Kano Pillar star will now hope to play regularly CSKA.
