Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has put behind his transfer speculations by scoring a goal from his Russia club as CSKA Moscow defeated Valeranga of Norway 4-1 in an international club friendly Wednesday night.

Musa has scored 10 goals in all competitions for CSKA this season.

Pontus Wernbloom put CSKA ahead in the 17th minutes but Deshorn Brown scored an equalizer for Valeranga before Aleksandr Golovin restored the Russia club’s lead with a second goal in the 44th minutes.

Musa increased the lead in the 60th minutes before Kirill Panchenko sealed the victory in the 78th minutes.
Wednesday’s win was CSKA’s third win in four mid-season club friendlies following victories over Sion and Odd
Grenland before drawing with Dinamo Zagreb.

CSKA’s next competitive game is on February 28 when they meet FC Ufa in the Cup.

The army men return to league action on March 6 when they take on city rivals, Spartak Moscow.
