Ahmed-Musa-Al-Nassr

Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa, has kicked off the new chapter of his career in Saudi Arabia in a good note, as he scored a goal on his debut with Al-Nassr.

He scored the winning goal in their 2-1 win against UAE’s Al Jazira in an Arab Champions League round of 32 encounter in Abu Dhabi on Monday night.

Yahia Alshehri put Al-Nassr ahead in the 15th minute of the encounter.

The hosts equalised on the half-hour mark through Mohamed Jamal, before Musa, who came in as a second-half substitute, scored the winner on 75 minutes.

25-year-old Musa, who made an impact at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, completed his move from English Premiership side Leicester City to the Saudi Arabian club earlier this month.

He resumed training with club last week Friday after enjoying a heroic reception by club officials and thousands of fans at the King Khaled International Airport.

Al Nassr finished third in the league last season, and will kick off their new campaign on August 30.
