Music producer OJB is dead!

Babatunde Okungbowa, one of Nigeria’s foremost hip hop producers better known as OJB Jezreel has just passed on, three years after undergoing successful kidney transplant in India.

According to family sources, the condition of the ace producer who is survived by three wives, June ‘Ama’, Korede, Mabel and many children was said to be in critical condition before he died as he suffered a relapse of his transplant.

The family source revealed that the prolific producer who was just a month away from clocking 50 passed on early this morning in a Lagos hospital after his kidney transplant failed completely for about a week.

It could be recalled that the 49-year-old producer was down with a kidney related disease in 2013 and as a result was flown out to India where he underwent a successful kidney transplant which unfortunately relapsed and resulted in his unfortunate death early today.
