Mutfwang recalls suspended commissioners, others after 2 months

The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has recalled two commissioners suspended about two months ago.
The governor suspended Mr. Chrysanthus Dawam, the state’s Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, and his Tourism, Culture, and Hospitality counterpart, Mrs. Jamila Tukur, on August 21.
Also suspended were the Special Adviser to the governor on Rural Development, Mr. Dio Lamul, and the Liaison Officer for the Mikang constituency, Mr. Moses Sule.
No reason was given for the suspension.

The Director of Press and Public Affairs to the governor, Mr Gyang Bere, confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday in Jos.
He said the recall of suspended officials followed a thorough review and significant improvement in their conduct.
The governor’s spokesman added that the quartet have been reinstated to their various positions.
