N15b Fraud: EFCC arrests NBC DG, Mba

The anti-corruption war of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, has again claimed another victim, as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Monday, arrested the Director-General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC), Emeka Mba, over an alleged N15 billion fraud.

Mba, who was arrested in Abuja, was taken to the EFCC’s headquarters. He is currently undergoing interrogation.

According to sources, the anti-graft agency had been investigating the NBC for about a month, while its operatives stormed the NBC office last week, arresting some account staff in the process.
