Naira depreciates by N10, trades N1,681/$ at official window
The Naira shed N10.3 against the United States dollar at the official window on Wednesday.
Data from the FMDQ Exchange’s official trading platform, which oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) showed that the local currency traded N1,681/$ at the official market, up from N1.671 it traded on Tuesday.

This represents a 0.61 percent loss when compared to the previous day’s rate.
Also, the total daily turnover reduced to $196.78 million on Wednesday, down from $218.77 million recorded on Tuesday.
At the Investor’s and Exporter’s (I&E) window, the Naira traded between N1,690 and N1,620 against the dollar.
