Naira loses N106 against dollar, trades N1,658/$1 at official window
The Naira lost further ground against the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Tuesday.
Data from the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM) showed that the local currency shed N106.05 to trade N1, 658.97/$1, higher than N1, 552.92/$1 it traded on Monday.
The naira closed flat against the dollar at the parallel section of the forex market to trade N1, 700/$1.
The currency gained N5 against the British Pound to trade N2,265/£1 as against the previous N2,270\£1.

The Canadian dollar also closed flat against the naira to trade N1, 280/CA$1.
The naira gained N10 against the Euro to trade ₦1,860/€1 as against the previous ₦1,870/€1.
