Unknown gunmen on Saturday night abducted Mr. John Mamman, the Special Adviser on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development to the Nasarawa State Governor.

The chairman of Kokona local government area of the state, Saidu Kurki, who disclosed this to journalists on Sunday, said the governor’s aide was abducted at his house in Dari community in the LGA.

According to him, Mamman was in the company of his friends in the apartment when the hoodlums struck.

He said the gunmen have not made any contact with their victim’s family members.
