Nasarawa records 13 fresh cases of COVID-19

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, Friday confirmed 13 fresh COVID-19 cases in the state.

Sule, who announced this during a review of the COVID-19 response at the Government House in Lafia, said the new discoveries had increased the number of infected people in the state to 25.

He said four out of the 13 new cases were contacts of the dead member of the state House of Assembly while the remaining nine were returnees from other states.

The governor also announced the extension of lockdown in Nasarawa local government area of the state due to the contact tracing at the council area.
