NCDC confirms 11 fresh cases of COVID-19 in Lagos as Nigeria’s figure rises to 373

Exactly one hour after the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced the discovery of 19 cases of coronavirus in some parts of the country, the centre confirmed 11 fresh infections in Lagos State.

The new discoveries have now increased the number of COVID-19 patients in the country to 373.

Giving an update on its Twitter handle at 11:00 p.m., NCDC said: “11 new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Lagos State.

“As of 11:00 pm on the 14th of April, there are 373 confirmed cases of #COVID-19 reported in Nigeria. 99 have been discharged with 11 deaths.”
