N’Delta group urges Atiku to support Buhari

Unlike ‘lifeless Buhari’, 71-year-old Atiku can lead Nigeria to the promised land— Ekiti PDP chair

The Niger-Delta Youths, Women and Security Movement for Buhari, has urged Nigerians and opposition parties to support the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration for the unity and development of the country.

In a statement by its National President, Ubokan Felix and Director of Publicity, Justina Nwosu, the group appealed to the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar, to join hands with Buhari to develop the country.

The group said that was no need fighting a lost battle, adding that the United State of America, United Kingdom, Presidents of African countries had congratulated Nigeria over Buhari’s victory.

It also called congratulated Buhari on his victory stating that his victory at the polls clearly demonstrates the yearning of Nigerians for him to continue his good works for the country .

Ubokan, who expressed confidence that the country would experience rapid development with the re-election of Buhari if given genuine support, appealed to all aggrieved persons to sheathe their swords and allow peace reign.

He said the group was optimistic of Buhari’s victory prior to the elections and that the campaign across Niger-Delta by his group and his acceptance by the people of the region was a clear indication that Buhari’s second term would accelerate economic growth and infrastructure development.
