Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, was a such a delight to watch in Leicester City’s midfield during the club’s home defeat to Liverpool on Saturday.

His compatriot, Kelechi Iheanacho, was also in action as he came in on the hour mark and was involved in the goal that halved his side’s deficit.

The Foxes were defeated 2-1 by the Premier League leaders at the King Power Stadium – a second defeat for the Claude Puel side so far this season.

Sadio Mane opened the scoring for Jurgen Klopp’s side after 10 minutes before Roberto Firmino doubled their lead on the brink of half-time.

Rachid Ghezzal pulled one back for the home team on 63 minutes after Iheanacho robbed Reds keeper Alisson Becker who was trying to dribble in his area.

Leicester continued to push for a comeback in the final minutes, but the visitors were resolute and defended their lead till the final whistle.

Liverpool have now won their first four league games of the campaign, which is happening for the first time since 1990-91.
