Ndidi, iheanacho with leicester city

Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action for Leicester City, who came from behind to win at Southampton on Saturday.

While Ndidi played throughout the game, Iheanacho was subbed off in the 67th minute after he contributed to a goal.

The Foxes defeated the Saints 2-1 in what can be termed a thrilling English Premier League encounter.

Ryan Bertrand fired the hosts ahead in the 51st minute after finally breaching the Leicester defence that kept them off throughout the first half.

But less than four minutes after, Iheanacho clipped the ball to the back post in the Southampton area, but the ball was not well cleared, as Demarai Gray latched on to it before scoring to level.

England defender Harry Maguire then won the game for the visitors when he scored the winner in the 92nd minute, to seal their second victory of the season.

Leicester began their campaign with a loss against Manchester United, but defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers in their second game.

The Claude Puel side will host Liverpool in their next Premier League game, while Southampton will take on Crystal palace also next weekend.
