Ndidi shines as Leicester shock Man City; Liverpool extend lead, Man Utd, Spurs win

Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi was in action for Leicester City who defeated Manchester City 2-1 on Boxing Day.

While it was a second win for the Foxes in five days, it was a second straight defeat for Manchester City, who were also beaten by Crystal Palace last weekend.

Liverpool have thus extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table as the Reds won 4-0 against Newcastle United on Wednesday.

Manchester United continued their winning form as they defeated Huddersfield 3-1 at Old Trafford, to make it two wins in two games for interim boss, Ola Solskjaer.

At Wembley, Tottenham put five goals past Bournemouth, Everton defeated Burnley 3-1 while Cardiff City held Crystal Palace to a goalless draw.

Later on Wednesday, Arsenal will play Brighton as Chelsea will take on Watford.
