Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose was on Thursday hosted to a reception organised by Ndigbo in his state for storming the Abuja Federal High Court to identify with the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

The reception which held at Fajuyi Park, Ado-Ekiti, saw many Igbo residents in the state carrying various placards and eulogising the governor.

Speaking at the occasion, Ekiti State chapter president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Nathaniel Uzomah said, “We gave you the title Nwanne di Nanmba and we regret it not. You have proved to be a true and real friend of Igbo people. For our country to fulfil its potentials, we must devise a civilised manner of settling issues.‎ If there is a problem, what is needed is a roundtable discussion to thrash out the issue”.

According to the president, Fayose has continued to live up to the expectations of the people by not abandoning them and standing up for justice for all.
