It was gathered that the agency collaborated with soldiers, police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Prisons Service and Nigeria Immigration Service to carry out the raid.

The NDLEA State Commander, Mr. Sule Momodu who lauded the Anambra State governor, Willie Obiano, for giving them the necessary logistics to carry out the raid added that continuous effort would be made to ensure that the state was free of illicit drugs, especially in the parks.

Momodu said those arrested would be screened to determine their fault in the crime before charging them to court.
