Nearly 2 months after sacking him, Sri Lanka govt reinstates PM
Nearly two months after he was sacked from office following a power struggle with President Maithripala Sirisena, Ranil Wickremesinghe has been reappointed as Prime Minister.
His reappointment was confirmed on the official Twitter account of his United National Party (UNP) which revealed that the deposed leader took oath before President Maithripala Sirisena on Sunday.
