Reform or die, Dokpesi cautions PDP

The national working committee of the Advanced Peoples Democratic Alliance (APDA) has announced the suspension of Raymond Dokpesi, Dan Nwanyanwu, and Mainasara Ilo from the party.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by APDA national secretary, Emeka Okengwu, on Tuesday in Abuja.

Okengwu stated that the party members were suspended for unlawful gathering in the name of the party, thereby violating APDA constitutional provision of holding an “illegal” national executive council meeting and going ahead to purportedly sack the national working committee of the party.

He said that Dokpesi, on July 15, wrote a letter which he signed as chairman of the party’s board of trustees, to Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), informing it of a proposed APDA NEC meeting.

He noted that fortunately, INEC responded by telling him to channel his letter through the national chairman of the party because the constitution of the party did not allow it to have a BoT until after five years.

“In their desperation to factionalize the party and move to PDP they went ahead to make this announcement constituting an illegal Board of Trustee and sacking of national working committee,” he said.

“Due to this indiscipline of these members, the NWC met at an emergency meeting today and suspended them and constituted a Disciplinary committee to sanction them for bringing the party to disrepute”, Okengwu stated.

He went on to appeal to the public to disregard their announcement because they were agents of another party trying to destroy the emerging alternative party that would “give Nigerians a better life”.

Meanwhile, Dokpesi was at the inauguration of the new committees constituted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Tuesday evening in Abuja.

Mtchew, what political party is APDA? They are just making mountain out of mole hill, as far as I am concerned, no more political parties again in Nigeria because Biafra is on point

There’s nothing Mega in this part, I knew from the day they announced it, that it was a joke and some sort of distraction to other politicians. Less than two months, they are already facing crisis.

This is what happens when there are too many influential people in a political party, all of them will want to be king and there can never be two kings in a kingdom. I really don’t understand how they want this party to work out if they are having problem at their early stage

They will not succeed because they have no good plan for Nigeria, they are out to embezzle the country’s money and enrich themselves, so don’t be surprised.
