Authorities in France and Belgium are still on the trail of the prime suspect of the gruesome Paris attacks which claimed the lives of more than 120 people.

Fresh findings by Belgian authorities reveal that Mohamed Abrini, the man who was allegedly spotted on surveillance footage with suspected Paris attacker Salah Abdeslam two days before the massacre, had travelled to Syria.

According to authorities in Belgium, his name was on a list of people who had travelled to Syria and then returned to Belgium, but it was not clear when he allegedly travelled to Syria.
