Why Neymar may miss Champions League clash against Madrid

Summer signing pair, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, led their French side, PSG to inflict a heavy defeat on Celtic in their Champions League opener on Tuesday night.

An Edinson Cavani double and goals from Neymar, Mbappe and a Mikael Lustig own goal sunk the Scottish champions as they were humbled on their home ground.

The world’s most expensive player, Neymar, opened the scoring 19 minutes into the game, before having a hand in the second, which was finished emphatically by Mbappe.

Cavani converted a penalty for PSG before the break to put the visitors three goals ahead in the firsthalf.

Mikael Lustig’s own goal was later followed by Cavani’s second of the night, a superb diving header in the 85th minute to round it up on five.

In the other game of Group B, German Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich won 3-0 against Belgian side, Anderlecht, who had a man sent off.
