Neymar will not leave Barcelona this summer --Bartomeu

Barcelona President Josep Maria Bartomeu has said Neymar will not be leave the club amid reports of an agreed move to Paris St-Germain this summer.

The Brazilian striker has become the subject of intense speculation over the last few days, but a report by BBC claims the Camp Nou boss have played down any possibility of a move.

The forward, who joined from Santos in 2013, signed a new five-year contract until 2021 in October, with his release clause set to rise with each year of the deal.

Meanwhile, Goal.com has quoted the 25-year old to have said he’s “happy” staying at the club, which means all speculations of him leaving this summer are not real.

Neymar scored 13 goals as Barcelona came second, three points behind La Liga champions Real Madrid, last season.

Neymar won a third Copa del Rey with the Catalan club last season, adding to two La Liga titles and a Champions League.
