NFF considers home-based players for Tanzania
Latest reports emanating from Abuja reveal that Nigeria Football Federation are seriously considering lining up home-based Super Eagles for the final AFCON 2017 qualifier at home against Tanzania in September.

According to a source, “Players from the domestic league are most likely to be the ones to play the Tanzania match because it will not only save the federation much-needed funds, but also give the players to stake a claim in the main Eagles ahead of the World Cup qualifiers particularly as they were overlooked for the friendlies against Mali and Luxembourg.”
Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2017 Afcon after losing to Egypt.
