Four weeks after the deadline given by President Muhammadu Buhari to the committee set up to investigate allegations of fraud against the Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Prof. Usman Yusuf, the panel has yet to submit its report.

SUNDAY PUNCH’s investigation on Saturday showed that the panel, which was set up by the President on October 31 and inaugurated on November 2, 2018, did not start sitting until three weeks ago.

The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, in a statement by the Permanent Secretary (General Services Office), Olusegun Adekunle, on October 31, 2018, announced the setting up of the committee.

When contacted on Friday, the Office of the SGF explained the delay in the submission of report by the committee.
