Pandemonium struck in the West African country of Niger when a bomb detonated by dreaded Islamist group Boko Haram killed at least seven police officers.
The Interior Minister of Niger also issued a statement following the incident revealing that the Islamist group attacked the village of N’Gagam near the Nigerian border on Friday.

Reports say the terrorists arrived in vehicles and opened fire on the police officers in the village causing commotion among villagers who scampered for safety.
Over the years, Boko Haram has constantly been a threat in the region launching attacks in Nigeria, Chad, Niger and Cameroon.
