Niger local council chairman dies in auto crash
The chairman of Katcha local government area of Niger State, Danlami Saku, died in an auto crash on Wednesday.
The state’s Governor, Mohammed Bago, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday in Minna.

He said Saku died in a ghastly motor accident along the Minna-Suleja road.
The governor described the local council chairman’s death as “heartbreaking.”
