Relief has come the way of two girls who have been freed unhurt from the den of kidnappers by men of the Niger State Police Command who stormed the hideout of their abductors located at Musuku Village in the Shiroro Local Government Area of the state.
Reports say the pair identified as Shekto Ali and Maiabu Shehu were kidnapped by men who have been unleashing terror on communities in the Shiroro Local Government Area for some time.
Reacting to their rescue, Peter Sunday, the acting Police Public Relations Officer in Niger State said the two victims who were whisked away to a hideout by the kidnappers were rescued by a team of policemen.
The PPRO said; “As soon as we got information about the kidnap of the pair; a combined team of conventional and riot policemen acting on intelligence information, swung into action and rescued the pair.
He also called on parents to always monitor the whereabouts of their kids to avoid such situations.
